I’m sick and tired of hearing about Sandy “victims” a year after the fact. If these displace people didn’t care enough to protect themselves with a renters policy ($200 a year) that would have provided “additional living expense” why should anyone else? They’ve had a year to find other housing but no…..they’re on the city dole and that’s a message to the taxpayer to “bend over” once again.
