This probably won’t be a popular comment, but I’ve never been known for being popular. This whole incident was absolutely horrible, and I can’t even begin to imagine the physical, psychological and emotional pain Ms. Nash continues to endure. The fact remains though that she was a friend of Ms. Herrod’s, and she assumed her own risk by going to help the crazy woman and her chimp in the first place. Had she just said, “No, I think you need to call in professionals,” this could have been avoided. I know, hindsight is 20/20. I truly wish her well and hope she will have some quality of life again at some point.
