Sid, you hit the nail on the head. None of the news stories say she resisted at all. How blessed these men must be not to have been (or know anyone) mistreated by police officers. Most officers are stand up guys but they’re not all “Officer Friendly”.
The comments may be a result of lucky people trying to find reasons bad things happen to “other people”. This helps them feel safe and continue to believe it won’t happen to them.
