The MA jury is a joke. An adult woman (of unknown weight) climbs onto a CHILDREN’S inflatable pool slide purchased at a CHILREN’S store and opts to go down HEAD FIRST. The slide partially collapses either under her weight or possibly being under-inflated and she cracks her head. Now her relatives get to go to DisneyWorld for the rest of their lives. Something’s wrong with our judicial system.
What is wrong is that people no longer have to take responsibility for their own stupidity. It’s an automatic see if you can get rich quick. Carriers will pay rather than go thru all the litigation.
I’d be willing to bet there was one of those useless warning labels on the slide that no one ever pays attention to anymore. This is the perfect reason we don’t. It doesn’t seem to matter.
