State police say a 24-year-old man participating in a rodeo was fatally injured when he was thrown from a bull.
State Police Sgt. Julian Castellanos tells The News of Cumberland County that Rigoberto Flores of Brentwood, N.Y., was taking part in a rodeo at Dutch Neck Village, a shopping and entertainment venue, when the accident took place. He says state police learned of the incident at about 7:40 p.m. Sunday.
Castellanos says Flores was pronounced dead by Dr. William Martin at South Jersey Healthcare-Regional Medical Center in Vineland.
State police are continuing to investigate the accident.
