Toyota Wins New York Case over Unintended Acceleration

    Good verdict. Toyota has been a leader in quality since the 1940’s. Regarding the theory that a floor mat could get wedged under the accelerator …. it makes no sense. If that happened, you wouldn’t be able to accelerate. Even “if” there was an un-intended acceleration,nobody has answered the basic question of why drivers didn’t simply put the vehicle in neutral, or turn the ignition off.
