Virginia Governor Vetoes Medical Malpractice Cap Increase

    I am really not surprised that this got vetoed. Virginia has one of the highest caps, if not the highest cap in the country for medical malpractice insurance claims. There are a lot of states out there that have caps of $250k. $2M is way higher than most. (see http://www.equotemd.com/blog ) I am not suggesting that it is right but I am just saying I am nost surprised. I am actually more surprised that other states are able to get such low caps.
