wow, we talked about this couple before… now she gets over 4 yrs for the fraud (23 counts) and does not kill anyone, and yet, a man that staged an accident who accidentally killed (voluntary manslaughter) who participated as part of a staged accident as well, only gets 2.5 yrs… so how does this seem fair?

Gee M, what it has to do with Obama Health Care is this – here’s a person who caused self-inflicted harm to themselves in order to steal money from companies. They are caught and prosecuted BUT … they have also accrued a 6 figure health care bill. Since they likely did not set aside enough of their ill-gotten gain to pay the hospitals, saps like us will have their tab put onto our bill. Analyzt’s point is that making HC an entitlement means that WE ARE PAYING THEIR BILL. Hello?

I am glad I’m not the only person that picked up on that. The legal systems across the country are not playing by the same rules. Unless you can count the money spent on the lawyers. You get what you pay for I guess.

byamo…justice does vary from state to state. However, both incidents, the glass eaters and accident stagers, were in Massachusetts.

… who will pay their $100,000 in ‘unpaid’ medical bills? I’m scratching my head over that one.

I’m thinking we can send that bill to Obama Care. Then we can spread it out across all Americans so it doesn’t sound like so much money.

Really, Obamacare? Please enlighten me. What does long over due health care reform have to do with this insurance fraud case?
