how the judge can justify this guys actions is beyond me. first of all, he was drunk and drove the vehicle. so he got a dui. secondly, he mistook an individual for the actual attacker. does this mean if i decided to have a fight with someone and then later claim it was the wrong person, i don’t get charged with aggravated assault? how is the police above the law?! i am glad the city took responsibility, just wish the court took the same look at responsibility. as an officer of the law drunk and then driving, you should be taken off the police force. in the area where i live, they don’t stay on the police force with a dui. it does not matter how long you have been on the force. if you read the article, a few times before he had issues. sounds to me like this cop had issues on several occasions. this does not make a sound cop.

guess you know more about this than the article states… dui? didn’t see that… but there certainly is not enough said here to understand it all..
