If their mission is to raise money for charity, why is this pompous event held at one of the most expensive places in NYC? They’d raise a lot more money for charity by cutting the outrageous expenses for this “gala event”. They should be ashamed. The people who participate in this want to look like they’re giviing to the less fortunate. BUT….they also want their rich asses kissed in the process. Let them meet in some soup kitchen or school gym and focus on raising money……..not spending it on a night out for themselves.
