Funny how a lawsuit jumps up suddenly when someone enters the political arena. If I were a skeptic, I would say that someone from the other party thought this might be a good time to throw some dirt.

Perhaps, if not for one minor detail: the widow who is the candidate is the one who filed the suit. Take a closer read at her statement at the end of the article. Doubtful she’d want to throw dirt at herself…

Sorry, gotta disagree on that. The widow is not a candidate. The wife of the chief promoter of WWE is the candidate and the widow is suing her along with her husband (still living) and the WWE.

Somehow I have a hard time figuring out how you forget about WWE when you pocketed 18 million dollars from them.
Perhaps she’s burning through that paltry sum?

Rick & Tom: Ooops! My bad…I guess those second set of eyes laying on my desk would work better sitting on the bridge of my nose! LOL!

So how does a high profile lawsuit like this protect the children any further other than teaching them that money can come from a lot of sources not related to hard work and honesty???

She’s not out of line. WWE has continued to use her dead husband’s image in their advertising, despite an agreement not to, and without compensation to the widow. She is entirely within her right to sue, and she should do so.

She is lucky she got the $18 million. Though it will never be proven there are a lot of people who think that Owen Hart committed suicide and the safety of the cables had nothing to do with it.

When you collect $18 million from a company you aren’t exactly trying to forget about them. If she doesn’t want her kids to see his image then don’t let them watch the WWE. I know the Hart family had a big falling out with the WWE but the WWE paid Owen and Bret good money for a lot of years.

    * PROTECT THE KIDS, MY BUTT !!!! *
I GUESS THE 18 MILLION WASN’T ENOUGH OF A SETTLEMENT.???
THAT JOB Comes Along with RISKS..
I’m SURE YOU DIDN’T COMPLAIN WHEN HE WAS RAKING IN THE MONEY BEING A WWE PERFORMER !! ??
HE WAS PART OF A POPULAR EVENT..
    That was his job !!!
    YOU CAN’T JUST SAY..
    “” Oh, He didn’t exist! “”
He will be mentioned in books, videos, or related material..
    * Just because you sue, won’t make people (or his kids) not remember him and that he was a great WWE Wrestler !!!
