A construction worker in Conway, New Hampshire cut his arm but was otherwise OK after the 20-ton excavator he was operating collapsed into a house basement.
Conway Fire Chief Steve Solomon tells WMWV-FM the excavator operator was working to tear down an old wood frame house on Tuesday when the accident happened about 4:45 p.m. A big rig wrecker was able to attach a cable to the excavator to right it and the operator was able to back it out.
Solomon says the excavator carried a large amount of fluids, but none of it spilled,.
