define “Especially in that state”, 2ndAmendmentmomma. PA may gone to Obama in ’08, but I can assure you it’s not as liberal or as wacky as you think. The further you get from Philly or Pittsburgh, the more conservative you get.

Wow. I guess the more conservative the influence the better things are. The past 8 years of a “conservative” administration characterized by overspending, less regulation, and Presidential “signing statements” that disregard the constitution, have really brought us to a nice place.

    Hey Jenn,

Who would believe that insurance professionals are more honest than
    judges?

When people I meet find out that I am
an insurance agent I get the full spectrum
    of comments…

…oh hear it comes, the sales pitch.

…you have got to be kidding, you don’t
act like any insurance agent I have met–you’re nice.

    and etc., etc.,…

As a physician, I treat pain patients and I can tell you that a small impact like a fender bender can do irreparable harm to a previously fused spine. Pts have good days and bad. Most try to carry on with their lives, even though they are in pain. Just because someone rollerblades or scuba dives doesn’t mean they are pain free. I have followed this case and it appears to be a witch hunt started by a jilted woman. I also suspect some political motivation on the part of the prosecutor. I hope justice prevails and he is aquitted. His spine will never be normal again and he will suffer more disability with the passing of time. I am amazed by the lack of compassion shown by many of the commentors. I guess that’s why you insurance guys get a bad rap. My best friend is an insurance agent and he would walk through the fires of hell with me if I asked, but that kind of loyalty died with the new “me” generation. Hopefully, the government won’t take over all insurance companies and you can all still earn a living

David-Listen up. The Bush administration in many regards was not conservative. For 2 of the 8 years the liberals controlled Congress. Now we have a near Marxist going to the White House and the looney left controlling the Federal government. The entitlement mentality fostered over the last few years will now explode and everyone will be under the protective wing of the nanny state.
