The gym I go to writes a waiver of liability and hold harmless agreement right in the contract. What good is this waiver if it does not hold up in court? Who forced this man to finish the workout? Why are the trainers responsible if he pushed himself beyond his limits, especially as a trained professional in fitness and survival? Whatever happened to personal responsibility? This is why our economy and country are in a mess.
