I don’t think Fatima’s “Allah Akbar” has any more or less place in this column than Willy’s comments. So let them have at each other. You open your mouth, you have to be ready to explain / defend what comes out of it.
Seems to me someone is going to not only stay in the country but be made fairly wealthy after he wins a couple malpractice suits.
I’m all for deporting immigrants that break the law (barring minor traffic violations). Granted I’m not an immigrant, but I have managed to go my whole life without worse than minor traffic violations. I don’t think it’s too much to ask of people if they want to stay in the country.
It does sound, from what IJ laid out, like the poor sap was not only dropped through the cracks but pushed. I hate to say it, but I hope he wins his malpractice suit (when he gets around to filing it – which I’m sure he will).
