So on the basis of Henry & CA ex pat comments……..we agree the law is not always just and it’s virtually impossible to get a fair trial in our courts. Frightening thought isn’t it?

and he doesn’t come down chimneys, he shows up after “accidents” to provide justice for all…the whole system has gone to crap, with everyone who is sued agreeing to “settle” to stop the blood-letting to the poor, poor plaintiffs who are actually better off after the incident than before….it’s bad enough that suits like these result in payment at all let alone whatever happened to INDEMNITY?

Seems like if the cameraman got in the way he would not have made it out.

I am sure GEICO will be dragged into this as well. Didn’t the caveman invent fire?

It’s not about somebody has to pay They are responsible because they encouraged people to go to the club that night. Have you seen any survivors? Try spending the rest of your life messed up like they are and see if you deserve money for being half scarred and losing your fingers and toes or your vision or your hair maybe an arm or half your foot, surivours are not being greedy we want what we deserve.

How in God’s name are we better off? Do you watch TV did you see what happend that night watching people burn alive somehow made us better, Or maybe it was the 3 weeks I was in a coma that improved my life so. WHAT are you talking about. None of us have a money from this most lost their jobs, not to mention their looks, friends and family who died. Why would you think we’re BETTER OFF?

Dont worry Linda, everyone on here is an idiot Republican that thinks all Lawyers are evil and that insurance companies are never responcible.

This is a tough one though, because the TV station probably didnt have any liability here.

MY FAMILY LIVE IN CRANSTON AND THEY TELL ME THE PLACE WAS A FRAME CASKET TO START WITH!
NOW THAT WE KNOW THAT OVER 100 INNOCENTS PERISHED DUE TO THAT PLASTIC FOAM JUNK, WHAT LAW (REPEAT) LAW AND (YES) SYSTEM OF ENFORCEMENT AND PATROL BY A CITY AGENCY ON A REGULAR BASIS IS THERE IN PLACE TO HELP PREVENT THIS IN THE FUTURE ?
THE CITY COLLECTS ALL THESE TAXES !
THERE SHOULD BE PERIODIC PATROLS AND INSPECTIONS…-EVEN DURING PERFORMANCES TO MAKE SURE THESE PLACES…-INSIDE OR OUTSIDE ARE SAFE AND THAT RAPID EGRESS IS PART OF THE MIX
TO DO OTHERWISE, FRIENDS, IS TO INVITE THE SAME, OR WORSE DISASTER AGAIN….-AND AGAIN
