How does this work when you are the only car on a desserted road w/ no oncoming lights?

I believe it would be YOUR headlight that is oncoming to the device. I only hope the shrill sound designed to scare the deer does not also scare the driver off the road! I can’t wait to get home tonight and try this thing out for myself.

Good Idea, but I bet there will be some slow downs too, blue flashing lights… shrill alarm… sounds like they’re coming to take me away HaHa!

Ok, first things first. The noise is not audible to humans, the strobe goes off when your still 150 yards away, (prob. won’t see it.)

Now for my questions. How does it sense the headlights? What about the road? What if the road is very curvy or hilly? That would compromise when headlights could be detected.

Oh well, I guess that’s why I do this for a living.

Here in MI we have a high rate of vehicle/deer collisions.
The shrill whistles have been around for years and have been proven not to be a deterent.
The only ones allowed to display a flashing blue light on the highways are the police. I doubt the deer will know it but it might spook the driver.

Maybe they should shoot ’em BEFORE they get to the road!

Shoot the drivers before they get to the road???? Sounds like it might have some merit…
