I was the victim of license plate theft, TWICE, in the last year, in CT. The police will be less burdened with mundane reports for license plate theft, and CT DMV will have fewer new plates to issue as a result of this law. One DMV clerk told me they spend a significant amount of time on plate replacement every day.

Kudos to Gov. Rell, who is making changes that save time and money.

Sure hope they are easier to remove than the ones Virginia used to use – I still have remnants of a very old registration sticker in my car… nothing will get it off!
