    This is the first step to implementation of a 24 hour coverage plan. By eliminating the on/off job description, the effective outcome is a combined WC/Health/LTD/STD approach called 24 hour coverage. With the efficiences of this approach, a number of duplicative expenses are eliminated. One TPA handling the 24 hour program can further eliminate claims fraud and can institute a “TRUE” return to work program across all lines.

    The industry should wake up and take this to the next level.
