As a retired Navy veteran and a born-again Repulican, I am really disheartened to see Montana\’s republicans voting to table this worthy legislation.
And as an employee of an insurance agency, I am even more disheartened to see Montana\’s insurance industry coming out against the legislation.
Most of the military members taken in on these scams are trusting and naive your men and women. They have not been exposed to the scum who take advantage of them. The military tries to educate them, but the slick sales people will try to rip them off. The fact that the DoD has a list of people banned from selling shows that the scum do in fact troll from base-to-base to catch our young troops.
Our military is made up of our sons and daughters who have chosen to serve their country in a most significant way. We have a responsibility to protect them, especially from our own people who would take their hard-earned and meager income.
If it wer not for our men & women in the Military, what woudl this Nation be? Stop & consider that when you vote against anything that would help to protect them. We need to stand strong together & let them know that we are here & we THANK THEM FOR BEING WHERE THEY ARE FOR OUR COUNTRY & FREEDOM!
