There is inherent lack of information and transparency with senior care providers in the USA. Through our research, we discovered that the majority of families and residents simply do not share their assisted living and nursing home experiences online.

This woman was a train wreck before being admitted. If the family was so concerned, what did it do over the 18 days after she was discharged from the home? Seek any better care?

Having visitied (and investigated) several nursing homes, I have found that while they are generally depressing, the staff is very caring. When you have very old, frail people, anything can happen. Nobody wants to pay for the level of care they think every person deserves. Few want to put up with working such an environment for what it pays. This is a massive social issue/problem that none of our alleged “leaders” is addressing. This issues shows what happens when reality intsects with economics. Who is going to pay to keep a pulse?

People want cadillac care for hamburger prices. Isn’t going to happen. Living to be 87 isn’t anticipated in social services. Who is going to pay? Our young people who can’t find jobs and won’t get any social security? Our un-employed? Illegal aliens who get citizenship with no investment in our country? Should unlimited tax dollars be dedicated to “keeping a pulse”? If this family was so concerned, what did it do to improve the situation in the 18-days after she was discharged? This woman was a train wreck before she was placed in the home. The verdict is absurd. I’d like to see the judge and jurors work one week in a nursing home. There’s a dose of reality.
