Baby Robert’s prior hospital transferred him to Tampa General on assurances that he would be treated by a neonatal surgical consultation. He wasn’t. The chief testified he had consulted with a pediatric surgeon. She denied the conversation took place. The baby died at the hospital and was not treated.
