What the lawmakers, apparently, do not comprehend is that it is not that consumers are not receiving, and responding, to notifications, but that, in the case of Ford, the manufacturer is refusing to make the needed repair!!! Ford sent me a notice, on my 2012 Ford Fusion, way back in March 2017. Yet, despite several phone calls, from me, and emails, from me, Ford refuses to make repair. Ford claims the needed parts are not available. So, all the notifications will do nothing if the manufacturer refuses to make the repairs.

been driving a 2010 Mazda CX7 since new; just received our notice two weeks ago we had a defective airbag needing replaced…comforting to know we’ve been exposed to that airbag for 8 years…then when setting apt we were told there is a steering defect recall we were complete unaware and not alerted of! First apt with dealer was yesterday…here’s hoping they actually repaired/replaced the issues/items…not feeling a lot of faith in the process…plus the dealer tried to sell us a vehicle because of the apt.
