I thought dire threats to our national security would be a thing of the past once Obama took office. We were told (incessantly) that Obama would marshall in a new era of smart diplomacy, make amends with our enemies and not manufacture new terrorists angered by a host of unjust grievances perpetuated over the years. Turns out we have just as many enemies now, perhaps more, than we did in 1998. And one of those enemies is about to get the bomb. When is this party going to be over?
