I am so mad. They lied to us. They told us falsehoods. Lots of hurricanes, unless you give us authorization. They said scientific things that were not scientific. We gave them authorization…But worst of all, THEY PLAYED ON OUR FEARS! They asked for our approval to move forward with their global warming plans, even though many said global warming was no longer a threat, and could be contained with U.N. intervention. But we gave in, we gave the authority, and now look. We’re in a quaqmire, we’ve got this green stuff everywhere; do you know how much I spent relacing lightbulbs in my house? Those curly things are expensive! Now back to the lies and deceptions…THEY LIED TO US…THEY PLAYED ON OUR FEARS…we gave them authorization, hoping they could persuade this global foe with diplomacy, but they went straight to Global Warming, and now look what has happened. Now we’re tangled in this global warming mess and we cannot get out.

I agree with you, they lied to us, just like they did with the Iraq war. Im sick of it.

fears are played upone if you let it. and the media does a wonderful job of always pointing to the negative. what happened to the positive?! oops, sell more papers portraying the negatives. seeing the big guys fall. what about the lowly who prosper because of hope? they overcome hurdles and leap over buildings. war w/iraq – you allowed them to create a fear. but then again, that is what terrorists want, panic from fear. the reprisal is that we can stand up and claim positive action. send fear back, stating we don’t back down. we standup for folks and their beliefs and the right to be treated as a human being. if you have forgotten that, then refer back to the preamble of our constitution.

Those little curly things are also dangerous. If one breaks, you must open your windows because it contains mercury. You can’t just throw it away either. I heard reports of one woman having to spend $1000 or something like that on hazmat cleanup. I also heard a report today that said that studies were being done regarding a link between the light from these bulbs and skin cancer, and also that people with epilepsy or lupus could have problems.
The biggest croc is NBC leading the charge to go green when they are owned by GE; one of the leaders in manufacturing those little curly bulbs.
Stock up on the old bulbs while you can. While you are at it, get a couple cases to put away so you can give them to your kids when they move into a house of their own.
