    ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!! He should have given the co-workers money in advance to cover his part if he knew he was going to be out. what a joke

    Tough luck for Mr. Hairston. There was no contract. There was no duty owed and breached. “un-written policy” equals “no policy”. If this guy was that concerned, he would have made specific arrangements to pay his share. He blew it and should receive nothing. The group of defendants should file a counter claim for their legal expenses.
