Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t ALL bats capable of sending the ball out at dangerous speeds? Isn’t that why they wear helmets?

Uh, I thought that was the whole goal of hitting the ball with a bat- was to hit it out of the park? Shall we all just roll it on the ground from now on? What a ridiculous case! Wear your safety gear and accept the risks of the sport or sit your b*tt in the stands instead and just watch.

I wonder if his reaction time was too slow. Or…….he forgot to duck.

I don’t think that we’ve yet gotten to the point that fielders wear helmets-the kid was pitching-but Easton should counter sue the parents for a defective spawn.

Why aren’t they suing the manufacturer of the ball? This is just beyond ridiculous. If you aren’t willing to take the risks, sit in the bleachers and watch the game.

Unbelievable! It is so aggravating to hear of these lawsuits. This is why everything is so expensive these days!!
