Boston Marathon Victims’ Families Could Get $1M

    What’s with this gratuitous payment and who’s funding the funds? The same question should have been asked about 9/11. This is what life insurance is for. Why is the U.S. government assuming responsibility for everyone affected by terrorist activities? They aren’t even required to claim it as income and pay no taxes. On average, that equals about $1,300,000 in pre-tax earnings. Granted it was a tragedy, but most of these people had life insurance that will respond. We have too many living Americans who are out of work and starving that could use that money.
