Haven’t we heard enough about lead paint. Sherwin-Williams should invest the money and just keep defending lead paint claims. It’s more cost effective and will guarantee the money isn’t being squandered. Even after any “clean up”, these low lifes will still be crawling out of their hole when they smell money. What makes this even more bizarre is the fact that lead paint hasn’t been used in over 30 years. Don’t tell me everything in the world hasn’t been painted over with latex since then. That’s the remediation folks.

And another thing, throwing big bucks at these alleged claims is wasteful. Just because somebody claims that little Leroy is an idiot because he ate lead paint chips doesn’t justify making him rich. He’ll still be an idiot. Give him a hundred bucks and have him re-paint his room.

Alex: How wrong can you be? Give him paint an let him paint his room? He’ll just drink all of the paint. Little Leroy will not be an idiot…he’ll be a rich idiot. Prob’ly run for public office or become Attorney General, or at the very least a Judge.

I also think corporate America should be able to sell whatever we’re stupid enough to buy without any repercussions.

I’m with you on that Smoking, though with it would have to come disclosures so I know what I’m buying.

This is a bogus suit and should be tossed out on appeal. I’d like to see the evidence used by the State in this case. I’m fairly certain they won because juries like to stick big companies with judgements.

Well, I think the paint came from China & is a Products recall that just took some time to be discovered!
