This idiot attorney should be fined by the court for contempt by filing multiple frivolous suits. I happen to agree with him though. Every idiot deserves the right not to wear protective head gear. They also deserve the right to pay for their own closed head injury medical bills. There should be exclusions in cycle and medical policies for head injuries that could have been prevented or mitigated had the driver been wearing a helmet. If they don’t mind being a vegetable, let ’em ride. Just don’t expect the taxpayers to pay for the mistake.
Maybe name calling is not the way to go. Make your comments as an adult. If you feel the lawsuit is frivolous he is not the attorney for you. He and client do not feel it is frivolous and are standing up for our rights. Use them or lose them. Yourself included.
Jester. You have the right to your opinion just as the attorney and his client have the right to file the lawsuit. Maybe you should lobby for the medical policy you mentioned. That is also your right. The decision to wear a helmet you be made by the rider, not the government. I don’t see anything in the lawsuit asking for the taxpayers to pay for this rider’s medical bills. Maybe you will have a different opinion when your civil rights are violated. Keep us posted.
The attorney rides and so do all of his clients in this suit. A little quick to judge???? Keep allowing the government to protect you from cradle to grave. I don’t ride a motorcycle to be safe I ride to be free. If 91% of the traumatic brain injuries are caused in autos and light trucks don’t you think (rhetorical)the safety people would start enforcement of the helmet where it would do the most good?

The attorney has never been on two wheels, either. Probably rides around in a Smart Car. I’ll take the bike over that any time.
