Greenwood city employee has died of injuries suffered in December fall, says Mayor Carolyn McAdams.
McAdams tells the Greenwood Commonwealth that 52-year-old Johnny Holt died this past week in a Jackson, Miss., hospital.
McAdams says Holt, employed in the public works department, fell Dec. 12 while replacing a stop sign at the city intersection and hit his head on the ground.
McAdams says the accident is being investigated by the city’s worker’s compensation insurance carrier.
