I text as a regular means of communication, especially since the Iphone, however, I ALWAYS know I’m behind the wheel, so I can’t see how this “study” holds water.
I couldn’t agree more with you Susan. You can’t tell me people don’t know they’re behind the wheel when picking up their phones. People need to learn to wait until they’ve arrived at their destination to text-and honestly people, it’s not that hard. What I don’t get is how when you hear about all these stories about people getting killed while doing this, it has no impact on drivers. People need to learn how dangerous this act is, not only with youself, but other drivers on the road. Are we that obsessed with technology that a text which might say “Hi!” could ruin someone’s life foreve? Think about your families and how it would impact them or another family.

The only people that responded to the study must be living in la-la land & don’t have a clue.
