Homeless Man Gets Prison for Michigan Building Fire

A homeless man who set a fire that destroyed a medical building in Lenawee County has been sent to prison for nearly seven years and ordered to pay more than $1.4 million.

Christopher Feneley repeatedly apologized in court Thursday. His attorney says he was looking for cigarettes and drugs last May and set fire to a doctor’s coat. The Daily Telegram says the fire grew out of control and spread through the building in Adrian.

The fire disrupted medical practices in the building and destroyed records.
