Regional Account Manager

We are looking for a Regional Account Manager to join our Customer Service team in the Highlands Ranch, CO office.

Summary

Reporting to a Territory Account Manager, ensures that new business and renewal sales goals in the Rocky Mountain region are met via interaction with agents, Marketing Representatives, policyholders, U/Ws and other internal and external customers.

A typical day will include the following:

Manages Team Leads, Senior Account Executives and Account Executives, acting as direct manager to Team Leads.

Oversees a designated book of accounts or designated Preferred Agents to service for new or renewal business.

Acts as Lead HR Liaison for Regional Office.

Recruits, interviews, hires, trains and mentors Team Leads. Involved in recruiting, interviewing and approving the hiring of Senior Account Executives and Account Executives.

Communicates strategic plans, goals, objectives, assignments including deadlines and timeframes for completion as well as distributing workload to Team Leads.

Reviews Quality Improvement and Quality Execution audits to ensure uniform procedures and style practices as outlined by company SOPs.

Utilizes underwriting authority to bind new and renewal business – (MTQ, terrorism rejection, special events).

Coordinates assignments with Team Leads to ensure efficient workflow management; monitors status of workload and identify and solve problems.

Monitors sales results to ensure goals are being met and identifies areas of improvement.

Performs annual employee performance reviews of Team Leads.

Assists in the coordination with RVP/EA any Agent Summits/Conventions/Product Fairs and accompanies Marketing Representatives/RVP on agency visits.

Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as human resources, timekeeper duties, information management and other clerical services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; 7 years of industry and commercial insurance account management experience; 3 years of supervisory experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

P&C License required, CIC or CISR designation preferred.
