August 25th 2010 Lunch Discussion: Workers’ Compensation in a Changing Environment and a Challenging Economy

San Diego – The Insurance Brokers & Agents of San Diego along with the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation of San Diego will be hosting a lunch discussion on August 25th, 2010 with guest speaker Jan Frank, President and COO of Zenith Insurance Company. The topic will be “Workers’ Compensation in a Changing Environment and a Challenging Economy.”

Jan will be talking about current workers’ compensation industry trends, marketplace observations, potential political implications and effects of the economic downturn on industry results. Future impacts of the changing environment and resulting challenges to agents, carriers and policyholders will also be included in the discussion.

The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, August 25th, 2010 at the Handlery Hotel at 950 Hotel Circle North in San Diego. Registration begins at 11:50am and the lunch and discussion will begin at 12:00pm. The cost is $35.00 per person for IBA members ($45 for non-members) and $5.00 will be donated to the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.

Jan Frank is President and COO of Zenith Insurance Company. Jan has a broad insurance industry managerial experience, including most recently as President and CEO of State Compensation Insurance Fund from October 2007 until October 2009.
