StrataCare Inc., a national bill review software solutions and service
company announced the acquisition of GenSource Corporation, a provider of fully integrated software systems for administering insurance-related claims and managing risk.
The two companies have been operating as strategic partners over
the last year while delivering a suite of new, highly integrated claims management and cost containment technology solutions, including
ImageManager, FileFly, and StrataCare Scripts.
The decision to acquire GenSource was driven by the successful partnership and StrataCare’s strategy to deliver “Best-in-Class” capabilities while maintaining specific expertise.
“As a result of the very close interaction between bill review and
claims management software, we viewed the acquisition of an industry
leader such as GenSource Corporation as a strong value proposition for our clients,” said Scott R. Green, president and CEO of StrataCare. “Together, we will continue to increase productivity, improve cost containment, and reduce the cost of managing claims.”
It is StrataCare’s intention to reportedly operate the two companies
independently, allowing each to continue developing products and
services based on their individual expertise while taking advantage of
strategic marketing synergies and delivering integrated client
solutions.
