San Diego, CA, January 14, 2015: Atlas General Insurance Services, LLC (Atlas General), a national multi-line program manager, is pleased to announce the opening of its workers’ compensation office in Texas to facilitate its expansion into the Lone Star State.
The program, developed by Atlas General and Republic Group, will now be offered in Texas in addition to current availability in California, Arizona, Oregon and Nevada. Atlas General’s WC relationship with Republic Group recently expanded into Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Atlas will target small to medium-sized accounts in a variety of industries including, among many others, hospitality, healthcare, automotive, service & artisan contractors and general main street business. Policies will be underwritten through Republic Lloyds, rated A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best with a Financial Size Category of IX and accessible only through Atlas General.
