San Diego, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2014) – Atlas General Insurance Services, LLC, a national multi-line program manager, welcomes John Speckman and Joe Zuk as executive vice presidents of business development. Speckman and Zuk will be located in the new Atlas offices in New York.
In his role, Speckman will be responsible for sourcing general agency, distribution and carrier partnerships, with the ultimate goal of building a nationwide platform for Atlas to distribute its products and services.
Speckman has over 16 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance marketplace. Prior to joining Atlas, Speckman served as the director at Aon Benfield specializing in general casualty with a focus on specialty programs, workers compensation and professional liability.
In his position, Zuk will be responsible for the strategic development of new products, acquisitions, carrier relationships, new programs, and geographic expansion.
Zuk comes to Atlas with 10 years of experience in the reinsurance space including roles in underwriting and brokering. Prior to joining Atlas, Zuk was the senior vice president at BMS Intermediaries, Inc. During his time there, he was responsible for the development and strategy of BMS’ nationwide initiatives.
