San Diego, CA, 11/13/13 – Atlas General Insurance Services is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a winner in the small business category in the First Annual U-T San Diego Top Workplaces Awards. Atlas has also been recognized as a Medallion Winner in the small business category in the 14th Annual Workplace Excellence Awards in connection with the U-T San Diego and the San Diego Society for Human Resource Management.
Top Workplaces is an evaluation of regional companies by their employees. Employees are encouraged to take an anonymous survey that decides the company’s “score.” Once all of the nominations and surveys are submitted, the Top Workplaces are determined.
The Workplace Excellence Awards are judged by a human resources expert judging panel. The awards are an evaluation of regional company HR practices that contributed to the proper execution or implementation of a strategic business strategy resulting in a positive bottom line impact.
