GSR Introduces New Liability Insurance Package for Energy Consultants

By Newswire | July 17, 2012

07/17/12 – Global Special Risks (GSR), part of RSG Underwriting Managers, LLC, recently launched a new Liability Package Policy for energy consultants working primarily in the complex offshore/onshore and “fracking” environments.

This unique package policy is the latest program in GSR’s more than 30 years of innovation and creativity in the upstream oil and gas sector. The package policy includes CGL, Professional Liability, Maritime Employers’ Liability and Umbrella coverage. Each line of coverage has its own separate limit, with discounts applied if more than one line of coverage is purchased. A Master Services Agreement Review is available as part of the underwriting process at no additional premium. Usual and customary endorsements include IN-REM, Gulf of Mexico Extension, Sudden and Accidental Pollution and Non-Owned Watercraft.

Sound risk management and loss mitigation protocols are essential to the successful underwriting of exposures within the oil and gas industry – both before the policy is underwritten and after a loss has occurred. GSR is unique among its peers in the underwriting and loss mitigation-related capabilities it brings to the upstream oil and gas industry. GSR is representative of one of the strongest and most highly-regarded teams in the sector.
