Eastern Shore Consulting Launches Claims Beat Podcast Series with ClaimsJournal.com

Hosted by Eastern Shore’s Bill Garvey, first podcast features Randall Day of FINEOS

Chicago, IL – January 25, 2011 – Eastern Shore Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in insurance software selection services, today announced it has joined forces with Insurance Journal to launch the Claims Beat podcast series. The podcasts can be found at ClaimsJournal.com, an online P&C claims news and data resource, built by the Insurance Journal and created to provide regional, national and international news and information to the P&C claims industry.

Hosted by Eastern Shore’s Bill Garvey, Claims Beat focuses on the latest trends in claims management through interviews and case studies with industry experts across North America. Bill will explore how Claims operations have solved expense leakage and productivity issues. Claims Beat technology topics will range from making the business case for system replacement to enabling a successful new installation.

The first podcast features an interview with Randall Day, Head of Product Marketing with FINEOS, sharing his expert advice on building the business case to replace a legacy claim management system. February’s podcast will feature Louisiana Defense Attorney Suzanne Ganier who will discuss the litigation costs of Hurricane Katrina. And in March, Bill interviews CastleBay Consulting CEO, George Grieve on how to prepare for and what to expect from implementing new claims systems.
