Arrowhead® Announces Its New Professional Liability Division

San Diego, CA – Arrowhead General Insurance Agency’s, Inc. new Professional Liability Division joins the company’s portfolio of nationwide products by offering Accountants Professional Liability, Insurance Agents Professional Liability and Miscellaneous Professional Liability. The programs were formerly affiliated with London American Professional Liability, LLC, a program administrator based in Fort Lee, NJ.

Ed Velasquez, president of Arrowhead’s Professional Liability Division, was the president of London American Professional Liability.

“We’re excited to partner with Arrowhead,” said Velasquez. “Our goal is to leverage Arrowhead’s existing infrastructure, including their systems and national producer base, to grow our professional liability products. This move will take our programs to the next level and put us in a strong position to execute on additional market opportunities.”

Velasquez is a 28-year insurance industry veteran who started his career at AIG as a professional liability underwriter. He has a broad background in the management and underwriting of diverse programs such as Errors and Omissions, Directors and Officers and various other financial product lines at market leaders including AIG, CNA and Zurich.

The Professional Liability Division management team, which includes industry veterans Charles Antwine and Arun Chanana, provides over 75 combined years of industry experience. The division will continue to work from their New Jersey office at 400 Kelby Street, 11th Floor, Fort Lee, NJ 07024.
