Hammond, LA, 7/10/14– Atlantic Specialty Lines (ASL), a wholesale broker and specialty lines MGA offering a variety of property, casualty, auto, professional, and personal lines coverages, continues its expansion by announcing the opening of its newest office located in Hammond, Louisiana. This opening will help position the growing company to seize the enormous opportunity in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
ASL will bring in Danny Gendusa, a 34-year veteran of the insurance industry, to lead the initiative. Not only does Danny bring years of experience, most recently as Director of Underwriting at RPS Covington Division, but he knows the region and the issues it faces on a daily basis. He is the immediate Past President of the Professional Insurance Agents Association North Shore Chapter, an approved insurance instructor with the Louisiana Department of Insurance, Member of the Louisiana Insurance Commissioner’s Surplus Lines Advisory Counsel and the immediate Past President of Louisiana Surplus Line Association. Danny also holds designations for Certified Insurance Wholesaler (CIW) and Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA).
