I think I’ll stick with Florida and the Caribbean islands. EVERYBODY has limits and cutoffs and reductions except the lawyers who crafted this Machiavellian voo-doo which only they can navigate. And still you have the native islander good-ol-boy system that can pop up and tell you, ‘I guess this just aint your day’. But whenever I hear people describe the peaceful, laid back indigenous people; I remember a painting displayed there depicting the end of their Civil War (before the Howlies arrived) when the victorious tribe pushed or threw every man, woman and child of the defeated tribe off of a cliff to their death.

Very interesting article. I have a question on a PIP carrier’s right to subrogate. What if the injured party does not meet the 5K in medical bills, is the PIP carrier still allowed to subrogate the at-fault carrier for PIP reimbursement?
