Do they mean lying? If they mean a true incident, then the parents and girls have themselves to blame, not the PE teacher who cleared his name. As a male sports coach (who coaches both boys teams and girls teams), I cringe when I hear about some creep who took advantage of kids, but similarily, I cringe when I hear stories like this too about being falsely accused.
I love my job, and would hate to have to quit because of people “always wondering” just because some pissant little spoiled princesses didn’t like my coaching methods
I agree with your comments 100%. Despite ensuring that there were plenty parents around at all times, fear of this is what caused me to stop coaching several years ago.
