May 29, 2012

A man faces 10 felony charges for a string of thefts and burglaries reported in Gallatin County, Mont., last summer.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports Joshua Pierce Menning was booked into the county jail last week and ordered held on $50,000 bond.

Prosecutors filed charges against Menning in March alleging he took three ATMs, cash and checks from bars, restaurants and an insurance company last summer.

He was identified as a suspect after an informant told investigators Menning was one of two men who burglarized a convenience store in Columbus, in Stillwater County.

In Gallatin County, Menning is charged with five counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, three counts of theft and one count of criminal mischief. He was arrested in March in Flathead County on the Gallatin County warrant.
