This guy has sued the hospital, Department of Human Services and 9 different therapists and doctors.

He has a history with the prison system. “Was a transient who stabbed another transient in the back in 2006.” Fled the police in Arizona crashing a car during the chase, was in prison in Arizona.

His own attorney says other than the incident alleged by the lawsuit, his client has benefited from his time at the Oregon State Hospital and is doing quite well and ready to return to the community.

He is also 7’2″ tall and obese. He was most likely headed for a heart attack. He alleges nobody got his consent or explained what he was taking and the potential side effects. Again there is no personal responsibility.

10 million in future medical and loss of earning capacity? From what I can see, he’s either been in jail or a state hospital a good deal of his life. What exactly is his earning capacity?

I say if he gets any settlement, he should be made to pay back every dime the system has spent on him for housing, food, medical care, court appointed lawyer fees, etc. Unfortunately that’s not the way it works.
