Firstly, this was an awful tragedy and my condolences to the family. But was this decision made out of that frame of mind? Was there evidence that this bat caused the incident? I have personally had balls hit back at me from a wood bat with no warning on it that could’ve caused the same outcome. At what point does the manufacturer not get penalized?
