Not all states are like CA and feel the need to run over everyones rights or tell everyone how to live their lives or even what they can or can not do with their lives. COMMON SENSE is a great commodity that is missing from today’s world. I have been to the island and know where this happened. I didn’t need someone to tell me to be careful or don’t get to close.
Water, rocks, standing at the edge…yup, poor judgement. But, hey, I’m sure she just wants to keep this from happening to someone else. Can’t be about the $$$.
I have also been to this natural attraction. It is beautiful and amazing. I hope this does not cause the need to suddenly stop allowing folks to see this natural wonder. My guess is that all of the signage in the world would not have stopped this gentlman from getting too close. People are going to make unwise choices in life and sometimes their choices come back to bite them in the back side. While I do sympathize with the finance, it is just an unfortunate accident that could have been prevented by not getting too close to the blowhole.
Darwin’s theory rules once again. There is no such thing as common sense and good judgment anymore. Mother Nature does not care about your signs. I guess there should be a sign like “Don’t dance around the edge of the volcano”? Dumb, dumb, dumb. Are you sure Mr. Genius was not scheduled for a brain implant?
My God how did the pioneers settle the American West without signs to enlighten them?

When I first read the headline, I thought to myself, “when did my husband go to Hawaii and kill somebody?”
