A few observations from a guy who knows:
a) what responsible parent in this day and age would allow their precious son to be unable to swim at age 16 – for crying out loud the lessons are FREE and it is a life skill, not a optional sports related activity
b) no kid gets into a pool without a swim test – especially in a pool with out dedicated supervision (Lifeguard)
c) The teachers were away from the pool deck, sitting in the shade and not paying attention – shame on them
d) settle this
